Located on 280 hectares of farmland between Sosúa and Cabarete, nine kilometers from the road that leads to El Choco National Park, Monkey Jungle falls in love with everyone who visits it thanks to its surroundings and recreational offer. The park has a population of capuchin monkeys, a seven-station zipline, a botanical garden, and an ancient Taino cave to which you can descend 18 meters underground. The monkeys in the park intermingle with the visitors, posing for you to take pictures and climbing on your shoulder, if you let them. The park also serves as a recovery center for rescued cappuccinos.
Walk the beautiful botanical gardens hidden inside a cave, jump into the zipline flying over the farm, some cables measure up to about 240 meters long, or face the Cave Descend, a cable-controlled 18-meter drop inside a cave. All proceeds from the tours are intended to finance a medical and dental clinic that is located on the farm.
